Designed for those new to the field of human resources or seeking to expand areas of general expertise, this program covers many of the basic elements essential for proper consideration of compensation, benefits, and employment law and labor relations. Also considered are the more interpersonal elements of performance management, recruitment, and general human resources topics. The certificate concludes with a capstone course in Strategic Human Resources, linking best practices in the field to the bottom line.
