Leadership Skills for Project Managers  

This course is designed with project managers in mind. Participants in this course will learn the skills required to effectively manage their project teams, build stakeholder buy-in and manage their internal and external clients. The course brings together the project and leadership skills necessary to both manage and lead a team and keep a project on track to reach a successful result. Class topics include: Client management - who is your client within/outside your organization; Building stakeholder buy-in - identify, manage and maintain stakeholder relationships; Stakeholder management - maintaining meaningful alliances to gain stakeholder buy-in; How to identify a high performing team - the who, what and why of high performing teams; Project Leadership & Self Awareness - How to ensure that you are leading in the best way possible for your team; and Derailment - Dealing with change and keeping your project on track.
