Tax Seminar 3   

The Executive Taxation Series is offered by the Zicklin School of Business in partnership with the Division of Continuing Professional and Professional Studies at Baruch College. Through this Executive Series, Baruch provides alumni and other members of the tax community with an opportunity to earn up to 24 hours of CPE in taxation over the course of three seminars that will take place in the Fall of 2019. The 2019 series will be led and moderated by our renowned Sidney Kess, Esq., CPA, JD, LLM and chair of the Executive Taxation Series.

The December 10th program will expand this season’s focus on the Impact of the New Tax Law.

Location: the event will take place at the Baruch College Conference Center in New York City. Further room information will be available upon registration. Note to Participants: We are delighted that you are interested in joining the Fall 2018 Executive Tax Series presented by the Office of Executive Programs at Zicklin & the Division of Continuing and Professional Studies at Baruch. Please note that the 2019 price per session is $249 per person. Our registration system will charge you a $20.00 registration fee. To avoid an extra charge, we have discounted the tuition to reflect accurate pricing. If you have any questions or need assistance with the registration. Requests for refunds must be received in writing at least 14 days before seminar date, and will be subject to a $200 cancellation fee. About the Conference Chair:
Sidney Kess, Esq., CPA, J.D., LL.M., AEP® (Distinguished), New York, NY 

Sidney Kess, of Counsel to Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP and a Senior Consultant at Citrin Cooperman & Co., is a nationally renowned tax expert and author/coauthor of hundreds of tax books on financial and estate planning. He has written hundreds of AICPA tax workshops, audio and video programs, and is the recipient of the AICPA Distinguished Lecturer Award. Mr. Kess is often quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and other national publications. He was included in Accounting Today’s “100 Most Influential CPAs in the U.S.” as well as CPA Magazine’s “Most Influential CPAs in the U.S.” Mr. Kess is the recipient of the AICPA’s “Special Recognition Award” for his many years of contributions to the AICPA’s Continuing Professional Education program and was elected to the Estate Planning Hall of Fame by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils for his distinguished service in the field of estate planning. He also received the AICPA’s Gold Medal Award for Distinguished Service (the highest award in the CPA profession), and was named the 2015 winner of the New York State CPA Society’s Dr. Emanuel Saxe Outstanding CPA in Education Award. Mr. Kess most recently was honored with the AICPA 2016 PFP Distinguished Service Award, which is granted annually to a member whose volunteer efforts have made significant contributions to the growth and advancement of the personal financial planning profession. Mr. Kess received his JD from Harvard University School of Law, LLM from New York University Graduate School of Law and BBA from Baruch College.
